KAMMIE
CH Taylormaid Ahwaga Lgue or R'own
10/20/2001-
Taylormaid Poetic Justus x Taylormaid Somthin Onda Side
Kammie started her show career at 14 months. She earned her Championship in less than a year and was owner handled from start to finish. One of Kammie's highlights was taking back to back majors and BOS in Clemson, SC. Another was at the 2003 Golden Retriever Nationals. There she took 3rd place in the Am-Bred Class out of 68 Goldens under one of the most well known and well respected judges, Annie Clark.
As you can see, Kammie was a special dog in so many ways. She was bred by one of my mentors in Golden Retrievers, Nancy Downing of Taylormaid Goldens. She was Nancy's last bred Champion before she passed away from cancer in January 2004.

Kammie was a pure joy to show. Dogs like her do not come along very often. She had such a presence in the show ring. She forced people to notice her. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of her wonderful accomplishments. She made my job of showing her very easy.

TRIGGER
CH Westin Pull My Trigger
DOB: 10/20/2001
CH Shorline's Pumpkin Bumpkin x CH Magi Westin MYTY
Trigger was the son of my husband's favorite Pug, MYTY. Trigger had the sweetest soul. He absolutely loved children. My daughter dressed him up like a princess and my young son would pull and tug (gently) on his fur. Sweet Trigger followed my son around and kept an eye on him.
Loosely translated, the word Pug means "a lot in a little," and that certainly personified Trigger. He was awarded his Championship in less than a year and received a Group 1 out of the 12-18 mos class under judge Danny Moore. That was a great honor that we will not forget.
